Government of Hong Kong has found a large number of  industrial chemical melamine in eggs from China. Government of Hong Kong to explain've found 4.7 parts per million (ppm) of melamine in a number of eggs imported from the province of  Jilin, northeast China.

The Chinese government has sought to distance network melamine from its food after the industrial chemical was found in infant formula and food products made ​​from other milk. Six babies died and nearly 300,000 infants in China experienced health problems after consuming milk that had been contaminated with melamine.

Some Chinese agricultural officials explained eggs with high levels of melamine is from laying hens that consumed feed that was contaminated with melamine. Egg producers from the province of Jilin has not responded on this report
