Melamine Contaminated total of 296,000 children in China

The Chinese government last Monday, stating, at least 296,000 child is sick because of eating cattle products contaminated with  melamine  industrial  materials. This figure increased by  about  2000 children than ever before.

Ministry of Health said in a short statement, as many as 52,898 babies have been hospitalized because of kidney problems due to toxins contained in the melamine. About 52,582 babies have been successfully saved.

Previously, in early December 2008, the Ministry of Health also reported that at least 294,000 babies sick because melamine, a material commonly used for loading plastic.

Data from the ministry also showed that as many as 6 children died from melamine. This amount is released nationally since the emergence of this case placed on the Sanlu Group that runs the scandal addition of melamine in infant formula.

The findings of melamine in formula milk was suspected due to the desire to increase protein content. His ways, mixing it spread not only in China but also in other countries.
